Air Quality Testing
Air Quality Testing
Why:
The air quality inside your home is more contaminated than the air quality outside. The homes being constructed today are so tightly sealed; the air from the outside cannot come in. You are continuously breathing mold, radon, pet dander, dust mites and other harmful air pollutants. Since most of our time is spent indoors, it is detrimental to our health relaxing in the comfort of our own homes. Those being most susceptible are infants and the elderly. If you notice a musty odor anywhere in your home or cold and flu like symptoms with yourself and/or members of your family, we suggest air quality testing.
Benefits:
To be certain of what is in your air; indoor air quality (IAQ) testing should be done. Air quality testing in your home tells you two things. The first one is what type of mold(s) is in the air of your home. The other is how much mold is in your home. The test will compare the air in one room of your home to the outside air. The first step to a healthy home, is knowing your air quality. Other rooms can be tested at the customer’s request. The turnaround time of the air quality test and the cost are discussed when the appointment is made.
Solution:
If an air quality test shows mold exists in your Maryland, Virginia or Washington DC home, a member of our professional staff will explain the next step and how we will proceed with the mold removal and mold remediation process.
